Ali Riley

Ali was born and raised in Los Angeles, but soccer has taken her all over the world. She currently captains the New Zealand National Team and Angel City FC. She has represented New Zealand at 5 FIFA World Cups and 4 Olympic Games. In 2023, Ali led the New Zealand National Team to the country’s first-ever World Cup win. She was a standout player at Stanford University before beginning her professional career.

She played for FC Rosengård in Sweden, Chelsea FC in England, and FC Bayern in Germany before returning stateside to play for the Orlando Pride in 2020, and is now captain for Angel City in Los Angeles. She’s a five-time New Zealand Player of the Year and was twice nominated for the FIFPRO World XI. Ali is a certified Health Coach, a published cookbook author, and has a passion for all things food.

Off the field, Ali has been the host of multiple video series. She currently produces and hosts Ali in LA on TikTok and Instagram, in collaboration with Angel City FC. She is committed to using her platform to help create accessibility to healthy food options and advocate for women in sports.
