Caramel Coffee Protein Donut Holes

Ingredients: Caramel Coffee Protein Donut Holes

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 2 scoops Ascent Caramel Coffee Protein Powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 generous pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon brewed coffee or espresso
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Directions: Caramel Coffee Protein Donut Holes

  • In a medium bowl, mix together almond flour, protein powder, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla, and salt. Mix until you get a tacky dough.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1 tablespoon of coffee and powdered sugar until you get a drippy glaze.
  • Divide and roll the dough into 10 equal-sized balls. Dip the tops of each ball into the coffee glaze and place the undipped part down on a plate, letting the glaze drip down and cover the sides.
  • Store in the fridge for at least 5 minutes to let the glaze harden, and then enjoy!
