Mint Chocolate Chip Protein Shake

Ingredients

2 scoops (62g) Ascent Vanilla Protein Powder*
1 cup (240mL) unsweetened almond milk
2-3 cups (300g) ice cubes
Handful spinach
Pinch salt (optional)
¼ tsp Mint/peppermint extract
1 tsp Xantham gum (optional, don’t need if you use casein)
1 tbsp dark chocolate chips

NOTES

*You can also use Ascent's micellar casein. It will make it thicker and almost like an ice cream consistency!

INSTRUCTIONS

Add all ingredients to a blender except for chocolate chips. Blend until smooth and creamy. You want the spinach to be completely blended. (You don’t taste it at all!)

Add the chocolate chips and pulse a few times to incorporate. Pour into two large glasses. Top with extra chocolate chips if desired and enjoy!
