Peanut Butter & Oats Vegan Protein Smoothie

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Servings: One 16 ounce serving or two 8 ounce servings

Ingredients

½ cup alternative milk of choice

½ cup unsweetened coconut milk yogurt

½ cup cooked or soaked oats

1 frozen banana

1 scoop Ascent Chocolate Peanut Butter Plant Protein powder

Directions

  1. To a high speed blender add all ingredients. Blend until smooth, scraping the sides of the blender jar as needed with a spatula.
  2. Pour into desired glass and serve.

Notes

  • For cooked oats: To a small bowl combine ¼ cup old fashioned rolled oats and ½ cup alternative milk. Cover, and microwave on high for 1 minute. Place in the refrigerator to cool prior to making the smoothie.
  • For soaked oats: To a small bowl combine ¼ cup old fashioned rolled oats and ½ cup alternative milk. Cover, and place in the refrigerator until liquid has absorbed, about 1 hour.
