- To a high speed blender add all ingredients.
- Blend until smooth, scraping the sides of the blender jar as needed with a spatula.
- Pour into desired glass and serve.
Notes
- For cooked oats: To a small bowl combine ¼ cup old fashioned rolled oats and ½ cup alternative milk. Cover, and microwave on high for 1 minute. Place in the refrigerator to cool prior to making the smoothie.
- For soaked oats: To a small bowl combine ¼ cup old fashioned rolled oats and ½ cup alternative milk. Cover, and place in the refrigerator until liquid has absorbed, about 1 hour.
