Directions: Apple Cinnamon Baked PROatmeal from Ascent Athlete Ali Riley
Preheat oven to 350*F.
Core your apples & dice them into 1/2-inch cubes.
Place the oats, protein powder, cinnamon, and salt into a 8x8 greased baking dish. Mix with a fork until combined. Add the milk, applesauce, vanilla and maple syrup, if using. Stir to combine all of the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients. Stir in the apple.
Back for about 35 minutes, until firm to the touch.
Serve immediately by scooping out desired portions and adding milk and syrup to your liking.
If not consuming immediately, allow the PROatmeal to cool completely before cutting into bars. Store the bars in the refrigerator in an airtight container or resealable bag for up to 5 days. Enjoy cold or reheated in the microwave, checking on it every 15 seconds until it reaches desired temperature.
