High-Protein Banana Bread

Dry Ingredients: High-Protein Banana Bread

Wet Ingredients: High-Protein Banana Bread

  • 1-1/2 cups mashed, very ripe banana 
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (key for moisture) 
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey 
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract 

Optional to add chocolate chips, walnuts, etc..) 

Peanut Butter Protein Frosting: High-Protein Banana Bread

  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt 
  • 1-2 tbsp Ascent Unflavored Whey Protein Powder
  • 1-2 tsp maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • Splash of milk (if needed for consistency)

Directions: High-Protein Banana Bread 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line or grease a loaf pan.
  • In one bowl, combine all dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix bananas, yogurt, syrup, oil and vanilla together. 
  • Mix wet and dry ingredients together and stir until just combined. Don't overmix. 
  • Pour mixture into pan and bake for 40-50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. 
  • Let cool before adding frosting or slicing.
