2 scoops (62g) Ascent Chocolate Protein Powder*
1 cup (240mL) unsweetened almond milk
2-3 cups (300g) ice cubes
1 tbsp (5g) unsweetened cocoa powder
Pinch salt (optional)
¼ tsp peppermint extract
1 tsp xantham gum (optional, don’t need if you use casein)
1 tbsp dark chocolate chips (optional)
1/2 crushed candy cane (for topping)
*You can also use Ascent Chocolate Micellar Casein. It will make it thicker and almost like an ice cream consistency!
Add all ingredients to a blender except for toppings. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Add the chocolate chips and pulse a few times to incorporate. Pour into two large glasses. Top with extra chocolate chips if desired and enjoy!
